It’s crazy to think that all of this started with one impulsive decision — buying my first camera, a Sony A7II. Do I regret it? Not at all. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
I was never a big fan of taking photographs, especially during special moments, because I always believed in simply living in the moment. But thanks to that purchase, I discovered a new perspective — that instead of losing the moment, we can capture it forever. We can hold onto the smiles, the emotions, and the memories that make life so special.
I’m Andy Jesus Ramirez, a photographer based in Colorado. I specialize in capturing portraits and real, authentic moments using creative natural lighting and candid angles. My style is about finding the little sparks — the laughs, the proud smiles, the quiet in-between moments that tell a bigger story. There’s still so much more to this journey that I have yet to explore, and I’m excited to keep learning and growing — not just through my camera, but through the amazing people I meet along the way.
Outside of photography, you’ll find me listening to music, playing music (I play the violin and piano), meeting new people, basking in the sun, going on walks, gaming (add me on Discord: ThyLoyal), and spending time with my "daughter," Bella (who happens to be a turtle!).
I come from a big family with nine siblings, and that’s probably where I get my love for genuine connections and finding joy in the everyday. I know that someday life might get busy and we’ll talk less often, which is why I’m passionate about creating bonds and capturing moments now — memories we can look back on when we're old and gray and laugh about together.
